Our space offers a relaxed, nature-filled Caribbean experience for travelers looking for something more authentic than a typical resort stay. It closely resembles a jungle glamping experience in fact! Surrounded by tropical greenery, fruit trees, birds, bees, and open-air living, the property has a peaceful off-grid atmosphere where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a more grounded way of life.
Much of what we cook and share comes directly from our garden, and the property attracts a variety of local wildlife and birds that nature lovers tend to appreciate. The environment is rustic, creative, and full of character rather than polished or overly commercial. Guests who enjoy outdoor living, island culture, animals, music, and simple natural surroundings usually have the best experience here.
The property also has a lively social side. We have a small bar on site serving beers and cocktails, and garden to table menu of organic home made dishes and snacks depending on the day, there may be music, gatherings, or friendly conversation around the property. Nearby beaches are often quieter and less crowded than some of the island’s more famous tourist spots, making them ideal for guests looking to explore a more local side of Saint Lucia.
As with many tropical environments close to nature, guests should expect insects and mosquitoes, especially after rain or during warmer evenings. We strongly recommend bringing lots of insect repellent and preparing for a true Caribbean outdoor environment rather than a sealed resort-style setting.
One thing we are very grateful for is our very dependable water supply, which is not always guaranteed in many areas of the island.
This space is best suited to open-minded, easygoing travelers who appreciate nature, culture, simplicity, and authentic island living.
Welcome! We are a relaxed, nature-loving Rasta couple who enjoy sharing our little corner of Saint Lucia with travelers from around the world. Hosting gives us the opportunity to meet interesting people, exchange stories and cultures, and introduce guests to a more local and authentic side of island life.
We enjoy music, animals, gardening, cooking, creativity, and living closely connected to nature. Our home is shared with several loud dogs and cats who are very much part of the family and part of the unique atmosphere here. Guests who love dogs, and enjoy animals and a laid-back environment usually settle in quickly and feel right at home.
We are always happy to help guests with local recommendations, beaches, food spots, transportation advice, hidden gems around the island, and tips on experiencing Saint Lucia beyond the typical tourist areas. Depending on the day, you may find yourself sharing a conversation over a drink, hearing local music nearby, or simply relaxing under the trees listening to the sounds of nature.
Our style of hosting is eco-friendly, casual, Caribbean, and community-oriented rather than formal or luxury-focused. We want guests to feel comfortable, respected, and free to enjoy the space at their own pace.
Because the property is closely connected to the outdoors and tropical environment, we encourage guests to arrive with an open mind and realistic expectations about island living. Travelers looking for an authentic Caribbean experience surrounded by nature, animals, and local culture usually enjoy their stay here the most.
The neighbourhood is lively, active, and full of local Caribbean character. Guests staying here will experience a more authentic side of Saint Lucia rather than a quiet, isolated resort environment. Nearby you will find local restaurants, bars, small shops, beaches, music, and friendly island energy throughout the day and often into the wee hours of the morning.
Several beautiful beaches are located nearby, including some that are typically less crowded than the island’s larger tourist beaches. This makes the area especially appealing for travelers who enjoy exploring local spots, meeting people, and discovering places that feel more natural and less commercialized.
The area can be social and energetic at times, particularly on weekends or holidays when music and gatherings are part of everyday island culture. Guests sensitive to sound or seeking complete silence may prefer a quieter residential or resort setting elsewhere on the island. Travelers who enjoy music, nightlife, partying and a vibrant local atmosphere generally feel very happy here.
Nature is also a major part of the experience. Tropical plants, birds, insects, warm evenings, and outdoor living are all part of daily life in this environment. We recommend guests pack accordingly with light clothing, sunscreen, and lots of insect repellent to fully enjoy the nature comfortably.
One of the things many guests appreciate most is the balance between social energy and natural beauty. Whether you want to relax with a drink, visit nearby beaches, explore local culture, or simply enjoy a slower pace surrounded by greenery and animals, the area offers a genuinely local Saint Lucian experience.
