Hi, my name is Nilu and I have been living in Australia for over 20 years and I help manage the bookings for the guest house from here. I frequently travel back to Sri Lanka to visit my parents and and speak with them on a daily basis. I have worked in the hotel trade for many years in Sri Lanka and believe in ensuring the guests have great communication and follow up to ensure the journey to Sri Lanka is memorable and enjoyable and in particular whilst staying at my parents guest house. Nothing is too much trouble so please ask an I will endeavor to do my best to help.

The property also offers trekking and sightseeing tours via the "Trekking Expeditor" office downstairs and is an award winning tourism guide company. It offer guests many varied site seeing or trekking options whilst staying at the guest house. The property is approximately 1 kilometer from Kandy town only a few hundred metres from Kandy Lake, so a great location to see the surrounding sites,shopping and tours.The Guest house is perched on the hillside with nice views overlooking the Kandy Lake and the City. Our guesthouse has large rooms, plenty of open space, shared dining rooms and living rooms to relax and eat. It also has large balconies that surround each floor giving all guests the opportunity to enjoy the views and fresh air. Each level has a comfortable terrace sitting area where you can enjoy a drink,read a book or just relax. There is a common dining and lounge area on the first and second floors where you can enjoy home cooked meals,watch TV or engage in discussion with other guests. The top floor has a large decking with magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and lake. It has a warm and friendly environment and is clean tidy and well maintained.

Kandy offers many different things: The Temple of The Tooth,The Royal Botanical Gardens, Udawatta Kelle Sanctuary, Watch some Kandian dancing and Fire Walking, visit The Kandy Museums,take a walk around Kandy Lake,try some traditional Sri Lankan food,watch the monkeys,go shopping,take a tuk tuk or a bus ride.Visit the British Garrison Cemetery.Visit the Kandy Devales,visit one of the many historical temples. Also it is a must to take a tour or the surrounding areas to see wild flora a fauna and many natural features such as many of the magnificent waterfalls, local villages and famous sites such as Sigiriya Rock, Ella Falls many others. If you would like to arrange a guided tour and /or transport for any of these locations please ask or book via our "Expeditor Trekking" office downstairs on arrival or you can view online or book in advance via our trekkingexpeditor website.
