I'm Krishanta, my friends call me Krish. I'm in my mid 30s and love surfing and being surrounded by like-minded people. Here at Freedom Beach I welcome people from all over the world to share stories and write new ones. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Property info

We at Freedom Beach are a family run business. Our small oasis is situated directly at the beach and closest walking distance to the famous surfspot Mainpoint.

Neighborhood info

We are a family business. Right next to our guesthouse you can find my Surf Shack known as Krish Surf Shack. We rent boards, give surf lessons and organise surf trips to the surrounded spots. Next to it you'll find Samanthi's Restaurant and cooking classes which is run by my sister Samanthi. Taste original home made Sri Lankan dishes and learn about our eating culture and bring it back to your home country. And next to that you find my fathers Thaththa's Tea Shop, an all day breakfast club in the shades of trees. It is very old and supposed to feed the hungry fishermen from 5.30 am in the morning when they return from the sea. Come and try the savoury Sri Lankan dishes, fresh made Rotis and Pancakes or the Fruit Superbowl!
