It’s a cozy haven in the heart of Arugam Bay with a perfect atmosphere for soulful escapes. After a day on the beach with surfing and swimming, an exciting stroll through the busy roads of Arugam Bay you will find peace and tranquillity in the cozy atmosphere of Gypcey Home. Located in a quiet neighborhood only 300m away from the beach you can relax, work or recharge. In the open kitchen with comfy lounge area you can prepare your own meals, read a book or enjoy the company of friends.
Dr. Shaffraz created Gypcey Home with the intention to provide travelers a peaceful place to stay during their visit in Arugam Bay. He also build up a small walk in clinic on the mainroad of Arugambay to give medical care to all who need it. He will be at Gypcey Home only once in a while. Jasmin, a German women will be your direct host. She stays at the place, will welcome you and help you with anything you need. Jasmin is living since more than 8 years in Sri Lanka, mainly at the south coast where she was running a guesthouse.
Gypcey Home is only 300meter away from the beach, a few minutes walk to the main road with the liveliness of the town. The house itself is located in a small, very quiet road, with only a few neighbors around.
