Mindfulness or “Sati” in Pali, is the basic human ability to be fully present and aware of ourselves and the world around us. Sati Villa has been designed to provide you with a mind and body experience. There is a certain stillness you are able to experience from the moment you step into Sati Villa. Situated in a quiet meadow away from the city of Kandy Sri Lanka, the fresh air, the endless view of a lush mountain range, the sound of birds and the gush of water from the stream that runs between the Villa, sets the perfect scene for your mindfulness journey. From the start to the end of your stay we promise you to be relaxed, rested and refreshed.
I (Shirini) am the owner of Sati Villa. My husband and I are busy parents and working professionals. We like to jump off life’s treadmill once in a while to take a break, disconnect from the outside world to reconnect with the ones dearest to us. A wellness getaway in the lush green terrains of Sri Lanka, is our ideal spot. The concept for Sati was built on the principle of Mindfulness and being one with nature. Sati Villa is our holiday home and we decided to open our doors to you. I take great pleasure in hosting and will be handling your requests, before and during your stay. I will not be at the Villa during your stay. The chef will be in his living quarters within the property. He and the property supervisor will cater to your needs at the Villa.
The Villa is situated in the Kandy District, 6 kilometres away from the beautiful, famous and historic Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and the Peradeniya University. We are 14 kilometres away from the temple of the sacred tooth relic in Kandy City.
