Srilax was created by husband and wife duo, Isuru and Shana - a couple who share a love for tasteful design, good vibes and easy living. The pair converted the upper floor of Café Kumbuk into Srilax, a family-friendly, 5-bedroom bed and breakfast with a modern, minimal aesthetic that is inspired by Sri Lankan heritage. Located in the heart of the city yet perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle, Srilax offers a stylish and convenient place to stay. Downstairs is Café Kumbuk, one of Colombo’s most loved cafes, with the same easy tropical vibe as Srilax. Co-owned by Shana and her mother, Dinali, Café Kumbuk offers a deliciously curated menu using locally sourced produce and spices, made fresh daily for you to enjoy.
