The Kandy House is a lovely private residence available for your exclusive use (the whole house just for you - no other guests!). Just a few minutes out of Kandy centre (2.5km), the house affords stunning views within a peaceful setting. Modern comforts but also close to nature with amazing bird and animal life. Fast, fibre-optic internet. Full kitchen. Splash pool. Games. Everything is included in one flat rate - no cleaning fees, no taxes, no hidden charges.

The house is owned and managed by humanitarian aid workers... a percentage of profits support humanitarian and development projects in Sri Lanka. Ask us about our "off the tourist track" eco-tourism day trips to villages around Kandy... combine a short trek with some learning about organic farming and a home cooked lunch... Manager lives offsite but is readily available via phone / internet contact.

The house is located in the neighborhood of Primrose Garden - close to town and local attractions. The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and borders areas of jungle and grassland - you feel like you are a world away from the noise and bussle of downtown Kandy. The close-to-nature setting also means that the house has plenty of geckos, squirrels and birdlife - whilst we keep the house clean and tidy - we suggest you stay elsewhere if you are not comfortable being so close to nature. Public and private local transport options available - see the guest guide for more information. We have a number of reliable tuk tuk drivers who work with us to take the hassle out of bargaining - just call their mobile number and they will come and pick you up!
