Woodside Manor is a warm and welcoming homestay nestled by the woods in beautiful Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, offering a touch of colonial-era charm in the city. The property enjoys beautiful views of the misty mountains and the city of Nuwara Eliya, while the backyard opens to the dense forest of Pidurutalagala Mountain, the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. Guests can enjoy delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan meals prepared at the property, adding to the authentic local experience. One of the main attractions from here is a guided local hike to Leopard’s Rock, led by the hosts. The trail offers breathtaking views, while the guide shares fascinating knowledge about local medicinal plants and traditional remedies, making it a must-visit experience for hiking and nature enthusiasts.
I love meeting new people, and hosting gives me the opportunity to connect with amazing people from all walks of life. Music and sports are some of my favorite hobbies, and I always enjoy good vibes and positive energy while living in the moment and staying connected with Mother Nature.
Guests can enjoy some of the most iconic experiences in the hill country, including the scenic train journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, visit the lush tea plantations and enjoy informative tours at nearby tea factories, learning about the traditional process of producing world-famous Ceylon Tea. visits to beautiful cascading waterfalls, hiking through the breathtaking landscapes of Horton Plains National Park, and walking along sections of the famous Pekoe Trail.
