Our property was used initially as a family house a very homely environment. It has 7 bedrooms. It is ideal for family set-up with fully equipped (stove, microwave, fridge, dishes pots cutlery etc) kitchen for guests who would prefer preparing their own meals. A dinning room sits 8 people. We are popular with hosting annual roof of Africa Rally, LETOFFE music festival and other local cultural events.
We are a retired couple running this small business on our own. We reside on the same very safe and tranquil property in another house and we are always more than willing to enjoy the company of our guests. We can also take our guests on guided tours to nearby tourist attractions such as Thaba Bosiu Cultural Village, Kome Caves, Mohale dam, and can always provide tour guides to back up our guests who wish to tour the country. Except for English breakfast which is not included in accommodation we provide meals (supper or lunch) on request by our guests. We grow our own garden and always ensure freshness of our vegetables. Our signature dish is PLATTER comprising green salads meats and potato wedge. We also provide traditional Basotho recipes on request. We reside on site and always ensure safety of our guests
We pride ourselves with very quite neighborhood in a semi rural setting about 7 km outside Maseru cbd. We are just 4 km away to the famous Thaba Bosiu cultural village, Makoanyane army barracks. Lion Rock View Guesthouse has been named after a lion rock formation which is in full view from our location - LION ROCK MOUNTAIN
