Culture and attractions: Right next to Vytėnai (just a few minutes by car) you will find historically important places: Kaunas IX Fort Museum – an impressive memorial complex and museum that tells a painful story and demonstrates defensive architecture. Remains of Vytėnai Manor – although the district is now modern, you can still feel the spirit of the old suburb here.
