Each cabin features cozy farmhouse-style decor, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping space for up to 4 guests, a warm bathroom with heated floors, and a spacious wooden terrace — perfect for your morning coffee or stargazing at night. Just a short walk away, you’ll find the calm of the Lobe river and scenic trails under century-old oaks.
As local hosts, we’re always nearby and happy to share tips or even welcome you at our small family-run winery-cidery for a tasting experience. Whether you’re here for a quiet retreat, a family getaway, or a taste of Latvia’s countryside, we’re here to make you feel at home.

Kannas is located deep in the peaceful Latvian countryside, surrounded by wild meadows, old oak trees, and the gentle rhythm of rural life. A well-kept dirt road leads to the cabins — adding to the authentic country feel. While there are a few neighboring homes nearby, they’re at a comfortable distance and home to kind, quiet, and respectful locals. No barking dogs, no parties — just calm, space, and birdsong.
There are grocery stores just a short drive away, but not within walking distance, so we recommend planning ahead for meals. And if you’re up for exploring, we’re lucky to have a wonderful local community just a short drive away at Krapes muiža — where neighbors from the area offer unique rural tourism experiences and high-quality local products.
