NEWS!!! Friends, we have good news - we have updated our villa with an outdoor bathtub for you! It is available to our guests at an additional cost by prior arrangement.
Inspired by Scandinavian design, Villa Gauja was fully renovated in 2020. It can accommodate up to 6 persons, or more if needed. It has two bedrooms (one on the first floor; second on mezzanine, baby crib can be set upon a request), big windows, modern lightning, bright bathroom and a studio type living room with TV with internet connection, free Wi-F, foldable sofa, high ceilings and fireplace. It's combined with fully equipped kitchen, spacious private green garden with wooden terrace and place for BBQ. It is furnished with modern furniture and completely new equipment: cooker hood, electric stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, iron, hairdryer, washing machine and laundry dryer, completely new dishes, cutlery and coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, and basic species for cooking. Towels and soap/shampoo are provided.
Outside terrace in the garden has table and seating, hammocks and deckchairs are available. You can prepare and enjoy your barbecue in specially prepared place.
You will have completely private property, whole house and private garden. Guest can rent an inflatable motorboat for fishing, bikes or arrange sailing trip on the yacht Elita.
Exclusive vacation house Villa Gauja has everything you need for a perfect holiday in nature! Located 25km from Riga, 3 minutes walking distance from the closest lake, and lazy 20 minutes’ walk through the pine forest to the sea. Riga’s Old City is 40min by car, 1 hour to Riga’s Airport.
Villa Gauja is ideal for those who prefer staying in quiet ecological place. It is located in Gauja National Park, in small village, surrounded by the pine forest with berries and mushrooms, and several lakes with fishes - Dzirnezers, Umis and chain of lakes called Garazers, river Gauja and the sandy Baltic Sea beaches.
The Villa Gauja is perfectly located for trips to the wild and sandy beaches and hiking in the forest. In winter skiing in the nearby tracks is possible. Guest can rent bicycles and inflatable motorboat for fishing. Local grocery store is available during the summer. Enjoy Seaside Nature park with pine forest, beautiful nature paths, the big Sun path and White Dune of Saulkrasti with the famous panoramic views. In summer time You can attend different festivities and entertainments in local villages as well as local farmer and flea markets.
