Pelēkā Māja is a humble 1980ies kid ready to welcome swifts and guests. It is simple but spacious. Modern yet heartwarming. Pelēkã Mãja and our own house are located right next to each other, with a little pond on one side of the property.
Hey! It is me, Sandra, the host of Pēlēkā Māja.I live onsite with my family together with four adopted cats and a dog. As a kid I spent all of my summers here, now I live here permanently. Moving away from the town and living here daily in between the nature is still one my best decision I have made. I am a visual thinker, enjoy to decorate, redecorate and renovate the environment I live in. Love to grow different varieties of tomatoes, have become a curious birdwatcher and nature lover in general.
The house is located in a small summer house neighbourhood, where people love to grow their own food in their gardens or just escape the city and have a picnic. The area is surrounded by magical forests. The last stretch of the road leading to the house goes right through pine tree on both sides. The surrounding nature is favoured by hikers, cyclists and other health enthusiasts, in addition, motorcyclists' route 'Trans Euro Trail' goes past the property.
