Fully renovated yet intentionally simple, Induli offers running (cold) water, a shower, a wood-fired sauna, and a natural swimming pond. Just 15 minutes from the Baltic Sea, this carefully preserved 19th-century farmhouse is completely off-grid, with no neighbours in sight. No luxury, no distractions, just nature, solitude, star-filled skies, and the rare experience of being truly alone. Simplicity is not for everyone. ⸻ The house Originally built around 1890, the Retreat House has been restored with care, preserving its historic character while introducing selected elements of contemporary design and art. The interior combines original features with a curated selection of furniture and artworks, creating a calm and considered environment. Salacgrīva, the closest town, has small grocery stores, a harbor, and a few well-loved local restaurants, including a popular Neapolitan sourdough pizzeria. In summer, the town has a relaxed coastal atmosphere. About 30 minutes away, Limbaži offers a weekly farmers’ market and a glimpse of small-town Latvian life. The area is quiet and largely untouched, making it ideal for guests looking to disconnect and experience the landscape at a slower pace.
