Welcome to Summerhome! SUMMERHOME holiday cabins offer everything you need for a weekend getaway or a longer break. You will have access to a spacious green area of about 1500 m², bordered by the Age River and a quiet local street. The land is thoughtfully divided into several parts to provide privacy and cater to the diverse interests of our guests. Our mosquito-free zone, maintained by an efficient mosquito trap, guarantees a comfortable outdoor experience. I love to travel (50+ countries) and love to accommodate travelers. My hobby is restoring and re-purposing old things into new ones. Another thing I love to do is gardening and long meditative walks along the seaside. You are welcome to have a cup of coffee in my topiary & rose garden.

With excellent road, rail and bus links, our location provides a perfect base for exploring the Vidzeme Seaside and Gauja National Park. For historic heritage and nature lovers there are 2 castles, 2 manors, and 2 nature trails in the close proximity (up to 30 km). Kids will love Munchausen’s World (10 km) and ceramic workshops. Those who are looking for tranquility will appreciate silent and lonely beaches away from Saulkrasti central areas. To reach the seaside will take you 7 minutes drive, 15 minutes cycling or 30 minutes leisurely walk. The same for supermarket. Those who like fresh, organic food from local farmers and artisan craft work are welcome to visit our local food market on each Saturday from 7-11 a.m. in the village center. It takes only 10 minutes by foot. Remember - first come, first served. Yummy things sell out fast.
