About Us 🤍 We are Elīna and Oskars, and in our everyday lives we run our family business, Latvijas Pērles, which brings together creations by Latvian designers, artists, craftspeople and small local producers. You can even find one of our shops right here in Ikšķile. The Forest & Garden Rooms is our own little project, created entirely by us rather than by professional interior designers. From renovation and painting to choosing furniture and decorating, we have done everything ourselves. Some of the interior pieces are even handmade by us. We love giving old things a new life and combining them with modern interiors, so you will find both new pieces and objects with their own history. Our goal was not to create perfect hotel rooms-we wanted to create a place with soul. 🌿There are only two guest rooms- The Forest Room and The Garden Room. Each has its own colours, character and atmosphere. Guests share a kitchen, dining area and bathroom, with an additional toilet downstairs. This is not a traditional hotel, and that is part of its charm. On weekdays, our Latvijas Pērles office operates downstairs, so during the day you may meet our friendly team, Latvian artists or craftspeople. In the evenings and on weekends, the house becomes peaceful and quiet. We believe our rooms are perfect for guests who appreciate personal hospitality, beautiful surroundings, peace and authenticity rather than a standard hotel experience. We live just a couple of minutes away, so if you need anything, we are always nearby. 😊 We are truly happy to share this special place with you and simply ask that you treat it with the same care as you would your own home.
