Wild Hog is the place to relax and fulfill yourself with nature and freedom, this is very quite place at the edge of nowhere. Being in this place you can observe gorgeous sunrise and hot sunset. Enjoying yourself in the place of deep woods and in few kilometers you are already walking down by the wild seacoast can be priceless for your health.
We are family with kids who loves nature of Latvia, who like to spend free time and showing kids not only city life, but also share with them beautiful nature moments. Watching how live wild animals and pets. We take care of these place like our treasure, everything is made with love and from pure heart. Due to the circumstances, we are coming not very often, so want to give others the opportunity to enjoy the magic of this place.
There is a interesting place called Slītere Lighthouse (13 km form WH), constructed in 1849. The lighthouse is located in the Slītere National Park which now maintains the lighthouse and its surroundings. Take a walk alone or with family by 1.2-kilometer-long circular trail, this allows you to see the common yew growing on the side of the trailand find other special ones in nature protected plant species. You can go to the beach at the open sea or bay which is 12 km away in both sides. Dundaga Exotic Animal Zoo is 20 km away form Wild Hog, and there you can get acquainted with alpacas, llamas, ostriches, chinchillas, dwarf rabbits, minipigs, sheep pigs, camels, mandarin ducks, tufted ducks, peacocks, the blue cow, etc. At Cape Kolka see the waters of the Sea Inlet (Gulf of Riga) and the Great Sea (Baltic Sea) meet, visit Cape Kolka Pine Trail and climb the Cape Kolka observation tower, which is 27 km away,
