"Allah gave earth to man and water to live and the desert as a gift to find his soul." (Berber Proverb) My name is Tarik and I am a Berber and a Nomad. My family is from the desert and live in Tamegroute, a small town on the edge of the Sahara. I have a camp in the dune where you can come and spend peaceful nights in the desert watching the stars and enjoying the peace, eating traditional Moroccan food and joining with us in playing music around the fire in the evenings. Alternatively you can take a tour and experience the deep Sahara, riding with camels and staying in Nomadic camps along the way.

Travel Tamegroute - We provide tours and excursions in Southern Morocco to the Sahara, or around the rest of Morocco. You can take a few days to go on a trip into the deep Sahara or just stay and relax in the Bivouac tents and take a Camel ride to see the amazing desert scenery.
