Property info

An ornate and traditional 'dar' in the medina of Fes, the three-year restoration created a museum-worthy building with intricate features that's still comfortable enough to make you feel at home. On the medina's edge, we get green space & long views

Neighborhood info

We are in a quiet residential area of the ancient medina, but only five minutes walk from the main street with it's souks and shops. We are on the edge of the medina, just within the walls, which means we have a wide green space behind us where people graze their horses and donkeys. We also have plenty of trees around us, which is unusual in the medina, so returning here after a day of exploring gives you the feeling of being in a relaxing oasis on the edge of the hubbub. Our elevated position also means we have incredible 360 degree views over the medina in front, the Atlas mountains beyond and the tombs of the Merenides behind.
