Company info

this riad is owned and operated by a local Fassi family. We are professional yet friendly at the same time. We offer traditional homecooked meals, such as couscous and tagine, upon request - most dietary restrictions can be acommodated. We are able to provide guided or unguided medina tours, host cooking classes, do henna, and arrange a traditional hammam (spa) treatment. Additionally, we offer activities that are rare to find in Fes, such as rooftop yoga with a view of the Atlas mountains.

Property info

This is a newly refurbished house in a traditional Moroccan style. This riad features hand-carved plaster moulding and painted cedar beams throughout, with a Fassi-style zellij tiled fountain as a centerpiece. There are three large guestrooms with private bathrooms, as well as a spacious shared living area and an open-roof terrace where complimentary breakast is served. The location is ideal for taxi drop off from the train station, just meters away from the iconic Batha fountain. An airport shuttle is available for an additional charge (please inquire upon booking).

Neighborhood info

This riad is ideally located at a gateway to the ancient Fes medina, a UNESCO world-heritage site and reason in itself for visiting Morocco. Although the medina is the largest pedestrian zone in the world, our accommodation is accessible by car, making transportation easy at any time of day - even with large bags. All the famous monuments of Fes are short distance away on foot, and there is a wide selection of cafes and restaurants right outside our door, which are perfectly safe to visit at night.
