Sahara Peace camp is set in Zagora. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. All units feature private entrance. The stable bivouac is a camp permanently established in the Sahara, one hour from Zagora. Between dunes and montains, an hour's walk from the road, the camp consists of 7 "tents" for sleeping, built of traditional materials of earth and straw. A place for meals, a kitchen, and a small sanitary block. This place is an ideal starting point for walks of a few hours or camel rides of several days. We are specialized to organizing hikes and trekking with camels. Bivouac under the stars, tasty cuisine, a varied landscape, we put at your service a competent, experienced and hapy team to share with you their love and knowledge of the desert. Whether for a night or several days, venturing into the desert is a strong experience for many of us.
I was born in the desert where my parents lived the nomadic life. We have our own culture and lifestyle. I would like to share all this with those who are interested. What is the most important to me is to make you feel what desert life really is and to allow you to get in touch with the nomadic people.
We do our best to welcome you and make you feel comfortable, but we are of a discreet nature and we will always respect your tranquility. You will decide how you want to experience your stay with us !
The nearest houses are far away from my camp 7 km, so you will be in a world of silent and calm, you will not hear cars noises while you are staying with us, maybe you will hear camels moving, they are my real neighbourhood .
The camp is located on the edge of a string of dunes, not far from a mountainous relief, and towards the plain, the view is endless.
Welcome to this quiet, open and silent space.
