Authentic Berber Camp offers a traditional Berber experience in the desert. We are located about 85 km south of Zagora, near Mhamid El Ghizlane, in the middle of the Erg Lihoudi sand dunes. We have a total of 4 authentique tents, each of which can accommodate up to 4 people depending on your preferred sleeping arrangements. There is a shared bathroom conveniently located at the camp which includes 2 showers and 2 toilets. We also have a large central tent which serves as a communal seating area for the evening fire pit. We have star gazing beds set up around camp on sand dunes which provide unique night sky sights. Our culture is one that involves respectful interaction with the environment, so our camp is almost entirely eco-friendly. In addition to our accommodation, we offer guided tours around the Sahara. We have jeeps and camels available to suit your travel preferences, from sunset camel rides to multi-day individual treks, available at an additional cost.

Hi, I´m Younes, born and raised in the Sahara, from the nomadic tribe called Amazghr. My family has a lot of experience with the desert and loves hosting guests and interacting with different cultures.
