This special authentic house from 1308 has been recently restored and is a true palace. The house has the original wood carvings and mosaics. In the atrium or the roof terrace you can enjoy a home-made breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is a serene place on the edge of the old medina.
I fell in love with Fez and I am grateful that we were able to buy this house in 2021. Since then, it has been the mission to make it a place to stay for explorers and creatives. since 2025 we offer our house and rooms. Fatima Zahra cooks the stars from the sky and Abdul helps you on your way as a real Fessie.
Dar Drouj is located in an authentic working-class neighbourhood on the edge of the old medina. It is a perfect base to explore the city. There are taxis nearby and a car park 10 minutes away. On foot you can easily walk into the medina via a great souk.
