Riad Sahraui is a traditional Moroccan house dating back to 1327, ideally located in the heart of the Medina of Fez, on its main street, Talaa Kebira. This historic riad preserves its original architectural elements, including beautifully crafted ceramic mosaic floors and intricately carved cedarwood doors, all adorned with authentic Moroccan motifs that reflect the richness of local craftsmanship. The riad features a stunning terrace offering breathtaking panoramic views over the city of Fez—an ideal setting to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at sunset or simply relax with a drink while taking in the atmosphere. Riad Sahraui offers six comfortable rooms, all equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and private bathrooms to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. Perfectly situated in the vibrant heart of the Medina, the riad is surrounded by artisan shops, fresh produce stalls, and spice markets, where the scents of local essences blend into an unforgettable sensory experience. Convenient parking is available just a three-minute walk away. Guests are also invited to enjoy the terrace at any time of day—whether for breakfast, dinner, or a refreshing drink—while admiring the beautiful views over the Medina.

Located near Riad Sahraui, guests can easily explore some of the most iconic landmarks of Fez. Just a short distance away is the famous Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate), the main entrance to the Medina. Also nearby is the remarkable Bou Inania Madrasa, dating back to the 14th century and considered one of the most beautiful madrasas in the city. In the heart of the Medina lies the renowned University of al-Qarawiyyin, founded in 857. It is one of the largest religious and educational centers in the Maghreb and is widely regarded as one of the oldest universities in the world. Guests can also visit the impressive Royal Palace of Fez, known for its magnificent golden gates, as well as the famous Chouara Tannery, the largest of the four traditional tanneries in the Medina, offering a unique glimpse into centuries-old leather craftsmanship.
