Hello, my name is Hmad, and I am delighted to welcome you to Merzouga! Hosting is my passion because it allows me to share the culture, traditions, and natural beauty of the desert with people from all over the world. I grew up here and know every corner of the dunes, and I enjoy guiding guests through camel rides, desert walks, and stargazing nights.
What I love most about hosting is creating memorable experiences and seeing guests leave with a smile and special memories of the Sahara. My team and I are always available to help with anything you need, whether it’s arranging activities, sharing stories about Berber life, or simply making sure you feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay.
Our camp is located in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes, one of the most stunning natural landscapes in Morocco. Merzouga is famous for its golden sand dunes, breathtaking sunsets, and starry skies. The village itself offers a taste of authentic Berber life, with friendly locals, traditional markets, and small cafés.
Nearby, guests can visit the seasonal Dayet Srij lake, home to migratory birds like flamingos, explore fossil fields, or discover the Khamlia village known for its Gnawa music. The desert surroundings are peaceful and safe, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the busy world. For adventure lovers, there are plenty of activities such as camel trekking, 4x4 tours, quad biking, and hiking.
