Hi, we are Cherie and Ian!! We are two passionate travelers, who love to see the world and explore new corners of it. Ian is a professional carpenter/builder. Cherie is the finisher. Together we have purchased old houses in England and renovated them. We fell in love with Montenegro whilst travelling around Europe in our motorhome in 2018. So in 2021 we decided to do the same here & brought a house to renovate & turn into 2 x 1 bedroom apartments & a studio apartment. We absolutely love animals & live here with our 2 dogs Alf & Simon as well as a few rescued cats that now call Carefree Apartments their home. Since living here we have rescued and homed 12 dogs to England and 2 cats to France and have done several road trips taking rescued dogs to their furever families in Germany and England. We also work closely with Love Hope Rescue Montenegro, helping as many street dogs & cats as possible here in Montenegro. We are both environmental conscious and Cherie is very eco friendly. The shampoo, condition, shower gel, hand soap, washing up liquid that we supple is all vegan, cruelty & chemical free. As well as the laundry detergent & cleaning products that we use.
