Kolasin entirely has turned towards the mountain recreational tourism. Kolašin is on the foot of Bjelasica and Sinjajevina mountains, which offer great conditions for skiing. Because of Kolašin's altitude (954 m), the town is considered an air spa. Winter tourism. Ski centre organizes transport to the ski centre with their own buses. Kolasin has three ski clubs. Today the ski centre on Jezerine is far famous for the quality of its service with a high quality funicular railway and several ski lifts which can take you up to 1950 m above the sea level. Kolašin 1450 Ski Resort was founded when property of former Bjelasica Ski Center in bankrupcy was sold, in March 2007. After privatization, around 8 million Euros was invested in infrastructure of this company. All ski-lifts were reconstructed, as well as two-seat cable car, there is also newly built Vilina Voda six-seat cable car, which is the most modern object of this kind in Montenegro. New ski trails were made, and the old ones were expanded, therefore the capacity was increased to 5500 skiers per hour,whereas the length of all the trails was 16.5 km. That is why we have become a favorite tourst destination of this part of Europe. Thanks to the elevation from 1450 up to 1973 m, the area of our ski resort is an air spa . Kolašin 1600 Ski Resort is 91 km away from the capital Podgorica, 12 km away from Kolašin town, and 2.4 km away from ski resort Kolašin 1450. It was named after elevation from which the six-seat cable car starts and where Troglava Restaurant is located. At 300 m from the restaurant, there is starting point of six-seat cable car manufactured by Doppelmayr and its highest point is at 2035 m. From that spot, visitors can choose two trails, Vranjak which is 1750 m long and categorized as a red trail, or Jaganičar which is 2800 m long and categorized as a blue trail. For the youngest visitors, there is ski lift for children.
