Reconnect with nature in our charming mountain home nestled on the slopes of Durmitor, in Zabljak, Montenegro. Surrounded by dense forest and offering breathtaking panoramic views, this peaceful hideaway is perfect for hikers, nature lovers, and anyone seeking true relaxation.
Just a short drive from the town center, the house is easily accessible but feels wonderfully secluded. Wake up to birdsong, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and enjoy the stillness only nature can offer. Photos made here look like magazine covers. There’s no need for a Wi-Fi around here – just you, the mountain, trees and the open sky.
I’m a biologist by vocation, a mother of three, and a lifelong nature lover. My family and I built this mountain chalet following our own vision of a dream house in the woods — a secluded place with breathtaking views, surrounded by forest and a mountain range, quiet and peaceful.
This house is our sanctuary, designed with care and heart, blending comfort with the beauty of Durmitor. Every stone, beam, and corner carries a piece of our long lasting dream.
Having that in mind, our wish is simple — that every guest feels the same peace and joy we feel when we are here. Whether you’re a hiker, an artist seeking inspiration, or someone just longing for stillness, we welcome you to share in our mountain dream.
The cabin is simple, ideal for families and couples (solo travelers are very welcome too). A natural water well nearby provides fresh spring water, and you can buy organic cheese, milk, eggs, and vegetables from our friendly neighbors – all locally produced.
