Located directly on Lake Ohrid, this colourful villa in Lagadin offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Its air-conditioned rooms feature private balconies, refrigerators and flat-screen TVs. Vila Mina offers a range of bright rooms and studio apartments with tiled floors and modern furniture. All rooms include hot drinks facilities, and some have a fully equipped kitchen. Many offer wonderful lake views. Breakfast is provided each morning. Snacks and drinks are served in Vila Mina's café-bar. My profession is a goldsmith, I am coming from a goldsmith professional working family. We opened our first goldsmith shop 1934 with a still successfully exciting. The Glagolitic Alphabetical signs in the rooms are personally made by myself. as well as the central wall-post, that has a background from the Old Byzantine art, which can also be found in the Ohrid Churches dated from the 11th century.

Villa Mina is exceptional with its Glagolitic Alphabet signs on the walls. Glagolitic alphabet was the first church alphabet of the Slavs. It was created in the 9th century by St.Cyril the Philosopher (+869), based on the language of the Macedonian Slavs of Thessaloniki. The Glagolitic alphabet has 38 letters and the are all created with the help of three symbols:a cross, a circle and a triangle.The Glagolitic alphabet was brought to Ohrid and its surroundings, by St.Cyril's students:St. Clement and St.Naum in Ohrid. Here in Ohrid, they formed the famous Ohrid Glagolitic Literay School in which they have managed to educate about 3000 students. The mail activity of this literary school was translating religious books from Greek to Slavic language and Christianization of the Macedonian Slavs,in all Slavs(Czechz, Poles, Slovaks,Russian,Slovenes,Croats,Bulgarians,etc).In Macedonia in the region of Ohrid the Glagolitic alphabets was retained untill the 7th centry, when it was replaced by the Cyrillic alphabet.
