Hi There, welcome to "le Goyavier". Our apartment is located in a traditional wooden creole house. The whole flat was renewed in July 2020 and offers all you need to discover the northern Region of our Island. The 360 degrees terrace displays a view of the sea (walking distance to the first beaches of St Pierre: 7 minutes) and the volcano "la Montagne Pelée".

We are a couple loving Martinique, culture, people, history. We know how to make your life easier and are eager to help. Furthermore, we speak English always with pleasure, and this can be of great help on an Island where, very often, Creole and French are the only spoken languages. We are taking over from Hélène and Emmanuel, who have made this residence a highly appreciated sweet holiday nest. We hope to perpetuate the quality of welcome and service as they did until their departure. Feel free to ask any questions before booking, we will gladly answer. We hope to see you soon ;)

The Fort Quarter, very calm though really not far from the center of the city, offers a unique experience in la Martinique. The Ruins of the city that was destroyed in 1902 are still very present and the volcano is still glancing at the city waiting for the next round... Hopefully not tomorrow :) The shops, museums, and all amenities are reachable by foot, even the Depaz Distillery (about 30 minutes in the countryside). The old city of St Pierre used to be the capital of Martinique. The city lost its status to Fort-de-France after its destruction in 1902.
