Our family has cherished this 400-year-old farmhouse for nearly 30 years. Originally transformed in the 70s by the designer of Dartington Glass, we've carefully preserved its rustic charm while adding modern comforts. The mature lush garden is an oasis of calm with a large swimming pool with views across the fields and on to San Dimitri Chapel and the blue Mediterranean sea. This year we have further updated the house with the addition of air-conditioning in all 4 bedrooms, plus a new bathroom and geneal restoration of the house to make the house more comfortable for guests.
We like to share our property with other guests to experience the magic of the house and garden and pool bringing families and friends together to create beautiful memories. The owner is the publisher of Malta's number 1 Restaurant Guide and also Malta Baby & Kids Directory online as well as the organiser of Malta's largest Artisan Market - Malta Artisan Markets. Lisa is English/Maltese and has lived between UK and Malta all her life and so is able to guide you accordingly with questions that you might have about the island.
The house is located on the edge of the village on a small square which leads down a country lane through the valley to the cliff edge and sea. There are a couple of good restaurants and a grocery within walking distance and many hawkers stop in the square to sell fresh bread, fish, vegetables etc.
