It was not until I stayed at a local holiday home myself to organise a family reunion that I truly discovered what Gozo has to offer. Being a traveller myself who is always on the lookout for new experiences, I never truly thought to be able to appreciate the local charm with its unique simplicity. As fate would have it, that was the start of something special. It ignited a new ambition inside me and never stopped since. An ambition to make you and your guests feel the same way; at ease and confident to experience a delightful Gozitan stay in a home away from your home. That was the beginning of hosting. Today, we open up a whole realm of new possibilities. Exclusivity, Privacy, Authenticity with modern facilities. A refined house of character with striking views over the surrounding landscape. The highlight of this holiday home is without doubt the sun-kissed outdoor area. The traditional style of this newly built holiday home guarantees a holiday well-spent and quality time to flourish. It is located in a tranquil street in the limits of Gharb village, with ample parking space off street. Hints of a traditionally-styled character from its limestone features adorned with bright, yellow apertures gives you a hospitable feeling from the very first impression. Once you set foot inside, the ambience becomes comfortable in its simplest form thanks to its modern style furniture and natural light. Guests are immediately greeted by the elegance of a bright, open plan living room with a 6-seater sofa, TV unit and a wood stove which overlooks a beautiful and sunny deck area with outdoor dining facilities, sun loungers, gas BBQ and an inviting pool with views.

Neighborhood info

Attractive and traditional village. One of Gozo’s oldest. L-Għarb is distinctly rural and until very recently it was populated almost exclusively by people who worked the surrounding fields in this fertile area of Gozo. The villagers are also renowned craftsmen mostly famous for the manufacture of the unique “l-Għarb blade”, a traditional sharp knife popularly known as the “Sikkina ta’ l-Għarb”. Even today, L-Għarb is home to blacksmiths, locksmiths, cotton weavers and lace makers, carpenters, and masters in cane-work. Gharb is also known for producing able fishermen, while Għarb shepherds produce the best Gozo Cheese on the Island. This makes it a very appropriate place for the l-Għarb Folklore Museum, which occupies a historic house in the heart of the village. Close to Gharb is the Ta’ Dbiegi Crafts Village, where various handcrafts are made and sold. Visitors can watch craftspeople creating mouth-blown glass, Gozo lace, pottery, and filigree, and of course, purchase the results.
