Gilju Bed and Breakfast located in a quite area in Xaghra, Gozo. The property has a very traditional feel to it, with lovely exposed wooden beams and comfortable rooms where you can relax and feel at home. The communal seating area on the 1st floor offers a cozy nook for reading or unwinding. Enjoy some poolside vibes, chill out and soak up the sunshine in our outdoor area.
We are an Irish couple and after many years holidaying in Gozo, we finally moved here in 2018. We love Gozo and all it has to offer. The climate is a big plus for us, the warm Mediterranean Sea, wonderful cliff walks with amazing views. Always somewhere new to discover. Our dog Hank loves it too. We look forward to hosting you in our relaxed, comfortable home.
Xaghra is a lovely village, a great starting point for discovering the island. Xaghra square has a great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, also supermarkets and 2 pharmacies. A beautiful church stands proud in the center. The Ggantija Temples which are one of the oldest free standing structures in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site are a short walk from the square and you will also find the Ta'Kola Windmill which has been fully restored to its former glory
