This is a spacious corner house with 2 big sunny terraces with very good sea views. The house has 3 double bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. There are toilets on all levels. A bathroom is located next to the bedrooms and a shower room/kitchenette are available on the terrace. The house is very comfortable and contains all the functional modern amenities one needs for an enjoyable stay, including television with cable TV service, super fast WIFI, insect screens and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and electric hob. Bed linen, towels, hand towels, blankets, quilts, soap and a starter pack of basic breakfast items (yogurts, jam, coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice and Maltese beer) are provided free at check-in to guests. I will also try to accommodate any specific food preferences (gluten, lactose, vegetarian etc.) if these are indicated in advance by guests. Late arrival is not a problem. There is a self check in keypad right outside the main entrance. Booked guests will receive an access code which will enable them to gain entry at any time, 24/7.

I renovated this house paying lots of attention to detail. I look forward to hosting you and enabling you to enjoy a truly Maltese home by the sea.

Senglea is generally calm at weekends as it is still a typical old-style Maltese residential area. The church bells will peal mornings at intervals all week for Mass. On weekdays, there will be a bit of noise due to traffic and a couple of yells from the occasional hawker selling fresh fruit and vegetables from a truck in the street outside the house. Sometimes, small vans selling fresh ice cream or piping hot "Bigilla" (a hugely popular Maltese bean paste) will come around and stop in the street. When these vans arrive in the neighbourhood, the driver will honk or play a few brief music jingles to attract customers. It's a traditional Maltese ritual and one of the reasons I love this old area.
