Ta' Ġilard is a little private townhouse within the walls of Żabbar, The name Ta' Ġilard was given to the house in honour of the family’s grandfather who used to own the place since the 1900s. It has been furnished with comfort in mind, taking care to respect its original character and history. Each bright and spacious room has been designed to the smallest detail and includes amenities to make your stay a truly comfortable and enjoyable experience. All the furniture is solid wood, handmade, and manufactured by the owner himself! The rooms have been lightly themed to reflect life in Zabbar and the traditional Maltese trades that have been transcended through our own families.

Family Micallef strives to ensure that every guest has the best possible stay which is designed to be unique for each individual’s expectations. We are always looking at ways in which we can enhance and improve your experience, right from the moment you enquire about availability in our location.

Our aim is to allow you to feel the character and lifestyle of our island throughout your stay. Ta’ Ġilard is located in a quiet residential area of Żabbar yet is still in close proximity to the city. The newly restored townhouse is designed to offer a luxurious and restful experience.
