Upon arrival, travellers seeking tranquillity, light and quality are welcomed by a bright living area with a large window overlooking the terrace and the pool. The house is newly built in the traditional Gozitan farmhouse style and enjoys open views over Xagħra Valley, stretching toward the Citadel and the Cathedral of Victoria. To the west it faces Merżuq Hill and its “is‑Salvatur” statue, and to the north it looks toward Marsalforn. As in any authentic bed and breakfast, the manager, her family and their cat live on the premises. The common areas and the pool are available for shared use after breakfast until 7:30 p.m. The rooms are located on the upper floor, each with a private balcony and full privacy. Our suite occupies the entire top floor and offers two private terraces. The house is filled with natural light, and its high‑quality finishes and furnishings create a warm, curated atmosphere that immediately feels like home.

Hi, I'm Ornella, an Italian. I've lived on the beautiful island of Gozo for years, so much so that I almost consider myself a Gozitan. The house mascot is Giuliano. He specializes in teaching you how to relax and forget the stresses of everyday life. You can always find him lounging in his green oasis. The house is run by a family, welcoming, and warm family, and is a business where we can host guests for a pleasant stay on our islands. The wonderful sea and enchanting landscapes made us choose Gozo for a simpler, more natural lifestyle, far from the chaos of big cities. This is exactly what we want to share with our dear guests, so they can return home with pleasant memories. ‘

The Ta’ Giljan B&B is easily accessible from the ferry by bus, taxi or car, with convenient street parking available nearby. Xagħra offers restaurants, shops and essential services around its main square, located about one kilometre from the house. Gozo is the most authentic, rural and peaceful island of the Maltese archipelago — small, bright and rich in nature. For sea lovers, there is no shortage of activities. You can relax in the island’s small bays or enjoy a wide range of water sports: diving, snorkeling, parasailing, waterskiing, kayaking and more. Gozo also offers beautiful excursions among salt pans, coastal trails and climbing walls. The island can be explored by jeep, scooter, bicycle or even on horseback at sunset… many possibilities for a truly unforgettable holiday.
