Welcome to The Loft, a charming 130-year-old townhouse that has been newly renovated and is looking forward to host its first guests. Ideal for 2 or 2+1, this pad is located in a gorgeous pjazzetta in the heart of old Victoria , just a 2-minute walk to the famous Pjazza San Gorg, 3 minutes from the bus station and 5 minutes to the Citadel. Take the virtual tour to get a feel for the space, and message me with any questions.
After 20 years of running bars and restaurants on Malta I moved to Gozo for the good life and the great outdoors. For time out it's sailing, snowboarding, festivals & glorious food in gorgeous locations. Having traveled solidly for the two years I still get itchy feet, but that is usually soothed by quick runaway trips to neighboring Europe. Sharing our islands best spots with visitors has always been a joy, and small as our islands are, there is always more to discover. Enjoy the journey! I live on Gozo, so I am happy to be available if you need any assistance.
Local public transportation is not only inexpensive but also highly efficient. With the bus station just a stone's throw away, you're never more than a 30-minute bus ride from almost any destination on the island. However, if you're pressed for time and want to explore as much as possible, renting a car or motorbike would be a more practical option. Motorbikes can be left outside the house, whereas cars are best left in a free car park 5 minutes away Gozo's undulating terrain can make cycling challenging if you're not used to such terrain, so it's best to be prepared if you choose to explore on a bike. For a hassle-free experience, Bolt Taxis, which are similar to Uber, are a reliable and affordable mode of transportation. The service is readily available throughout the island, and all you need is to download the "Bolt" app on your phone.
