Casa Othir is a small collection of seven private, self-contained lofts inside one house, designed so you feel comfortable and at home from the moment you arrive. Each loft is its own independent space for two guests, with a comfortable queen bed, a Smart TV for streaming or catching every match, and a private bathroom. You also get a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker, fridge and freezer, and all the basics you need to prepare a simple meal or snack, though please note there is no stove or cooktop. Free WiFi keeps you connected throughout your stay.
What many guests love most is how easy and stress-free the arrival is. Check-in is completely self-service: you let yourself in with your own private code at any hour, with no front desk and no waiting. That makes it ideal whether you land late at night, arrive in the early morning, or come back tired after a long day exploring the city. If you get here before your room is ready, just let us know and we are happy to hold your luggage so you can head straight out.
Every loft sits within a quiet, safe residential neighborhood with security cameras on the property, so you can rest easy. And even though each space is fully private, someone from our team is always nearby if you have a question or need a hand with anything during your stay. We take care to have everything clean, tidy and ready before you walk in.
More than just a room, Casa Othir is meant to feel like a place of your own in Monterrey: a calm, private base where you can unwind, sleep well, and enjoy your trip at your own pace, with everything you need just steps from the door.
Hi, and welcome! We are the team behind Casa Othir, and hosting is something we genuinely enjoy. There is nothing better than helping someone who has traveled a long way settle in, relax, and start their trip on the right foot. We love meeting guests from all over the world, and we especially enjoy the energy that big events and football season bring to our city.
What matters most to us is that your stay feels easy and relaxed from start to finish: a simple, self-service arrival at any hour, a space that is spotless and ready, and the peace of mind of knowing we are close by if you need anything at all. Diana, who helps us look after the house, is always happy to receive your luggage if you arrive before your check-in time, and there is a small waiting area where you can sit and relax.
We know and love Monterrey, and we are always glad to share our favorite spots: where to find the best tacos and seafood, where to go out at night, which malls and parks are worth your time, and the easiest way to get around the city or out to the stadium. So please, ask us anything; we would rather you reach out than wonder.
Our goal is simple: that you feel at home, that everything runs smoothly, and that your trip to Monterrey turns out even better than you hoped. We are really glad to have you, and we hope you enjoy every minute.
Welcome!
You are staying in Vista Hermosa, a quiet, safe residential neighborhood that still puts you within easy reach of the best of Monterrey. One of the nicest surprises is how much is right on your doorstep: on the very same street you will find good restaurants and cafes, including Italian, fresh seafood and a lovely bakery, plus a craft brewery just a few minutes away that is popular with visitors.
For shopping and a bite to eat, Galerias Monterrey, one of the largest malls in the city with major brands and a big food court, is only about five minutes away by car. San Pedro, the city's most upscale district and home to its finest restaurants and nightlife, along with the open-air Punto Valle town center, is around 10 minutes away. Parque Fundidora, a huge urban park with museums, lakes and walking paths, and the historic Barrio Antiguo, with its bars and lively night scene, are both about 15 minutes out. The downtown Macroplaza and the scenic Paseo Santa Lucia riverwalk are also well worth a visit.
Day-to-day essentials could not be easier: there is a pharmacy right next door, an Oxxo convenience store across the street, and a Soriana supermarket just one block away. The area is central and very well connected. Getting around by car or ride app (Uber and DiDi) is simple and practical, the airport is roughly 25 to 30 minutes away, and Estadio BBVA is about 30 to 40 minutes by car, or reachable on Metro Line 1.
Whether you are here to explore the city, catch a match, or simply relax, this is a comfortable and convenient base for your stay in Monterrey.
