Casa Palencia is ideally situated in the beautiful historic center and just steps away from the best restaurants, cafes, theatres, markets/shops and Plazuela Machado - the City's main square. A quick walk to the ocean and the Olas Altas neighbourhood provides incredible sunsets, restaurants and bars. We offer offer 4 suites (2 King suites and 2 Queen suites) in a unique, hip & updated "home away from home". Each suite is bright, comfortable, clean & furnished with stylish Mexcian-chic décor. Each suite has access to the indoor lounge (books & games), plunge pool, lounge deck & patio garden. The manicured patio garden is incredibly lush and with 3 separate seating areas, it is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the hummingbirds at the feeder. Each suite has a workspace, occasional chair, spacious closet & private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower (towels, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner & body wash included). We also offer fiber optic WIFI, beach towels, a smart flat screen TV (1000s of international channels: sports & movies) mini fridge, microwave, drip coffee machine (coffee & tea provided) & Keurig at the breakfast bar. We strive to be "green"! We are mainly powered by solar panels & we have a purified water dispense for your re-fillable bottles. Artisanal chef's breakfast included. An eclectic & delicious fusion of Mexican & World flavours curated & prepared daily (7:30-9:30). Includes coffee, tea, juices, fresh local fruit & baked goods in addition to a selection of a la carte hot dishes.

Casa Palencia is located in the beautiful Centro Historico (Historic Centre) of Mazatlan. This protected area boasts incredible architectural features, a cathedral, restaurants, rooftop bars, theaters, galleries, spas, cafes, bustling markets (even a department store) and the charming Plazuela Machado - the main city square at the heart of it all. Plazuela Machado fills with people at night enjoying the surrounding restaurants, live music & pop up market vendors. The ocean is just minutes away in several directions. The neighbourhood of Olas Altas is a few minutes West and is the beginning of the Malecon; a cobblestone walkway with bike paths that run for miles and miles up the beautiful coast and all the way to the Golden Zone. You can walk, ride a bike, take a very short taxi ride, or jaunt in one of Mazatlan's Pulmonias for a wonderful day to Stone Island or to the Light House and Observatory with parrot & toucan sanctuaries and providing incredible views of the entire coast! Mazatlan beaches span the entire coast and boasts water sports, day clubs, restaurants and peaceful spots to get away from everything. Whale watching, sunset cruises and deep sea fishing excursions are just some of the many things to do in Mazatlan. We can also arrange these excursions for you.
