The house is fully equipped and you will have everything to make your stay comfortable. You will stay on the ground level of the house. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a Full and Twin bed. Each bedroom has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The living area includes a well equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stove with oven, coffee maker, pots/pans, plates, etc. Kitchen opens up into a living room with a table and chairs and a sofa. Outside is a large patio which has a dining table with chairs, a sitting area, and hammocks. The property has clean beach sand, an outdoor shower and two bathrooms accessible from the outside. There is a gate that opens to the path leading to the beach. We can accommodate up to 8 people. 6 people in beds and 2 people in folding camping/military type cots. NOTE: Although we have WiFi, at times the signal is not very strong or the service goes out. This applies to all of Cuyo since it's still a remote location. Also, at times, electricity and cell signal go out for all of Cuyo. Be prepared to enjoy your stay and completely disconnect from the rest of the world!

Our team is passionate about making you feel at home and comfortable. We will try to make your stay memorable by helping organize bike, kayak, ATV or boat tours in El Cuyo or around for you and connect you with local culture. We will let you know where to get best local food, buy fresh fish, get yoga, fitness and kite surfing lessons or join a drum circle. From helping you organize an event to getting local food or a birthday cake, we are here for you. We will even share the songs that we wrote about El Cuyo and you will keep humming "El Cuyo me llama!" all the time! Owner is a musician and lives upstairs and is available to answer any questions. You can have as little or as much interaction with the owner as you like (none is OK too).

The house is a few steps from the beach walking down the path through the dunes. We are located in a quiet not very populated residential area on the left side main street (facing the ocean), towards fishermen's port. We are on the street closest to the ocean and are a few steps away from the beach walking down a dirt path through the dunes. La Casa del Ritmo is 4 blocks from main street, 3 blocks from famous Casa Palma pizzeria, a pharmacy and a small store are 1 block away. We are on the other side of Main street from the busy tourist part of Ave. Veraniegas. Our beach is often empty. Most places in El Cuyo accept only cash. There is an ATM in main park, but it's more reliable to bring cash with you. El Cuyo has many small grocery stores where you can buy basic ingredients. Depending on your needs, you do not need to bring groceries into El Cuyo. Cuyo is a walkable place, you do not need a car. We offer bike rentals, if you prefer to have a bike. For those with a car, we have parking for 2 cars inside the property and plenty of parking on the street. Car rental is the easiest way to get to El Cuyo. Bus service is available, but the trip will be long and it is not as convenient as a car. We offer transportation to and from El Cuyo and site seeing trips by a professional licensed taxi driver (extra cost).
