Flora Bay 1 is located on Perhentian Island, known for its beautiful sandy beaches and dove spots. Sitting on Teluk Dalam Beach, it has an on-site diving center, snorkeling equipment for rent, as well as a souvenir shop. Cozy and fitted with wooden flooring, all rooms come with either a fan or air conditioning. From the private balcony, rooms enjoy views of the hill, garden or sea. Private bathroom has a shower. To get to Flora Bay 1, guests must travel to Kuala Besut Jetty to take a 30-minute boat ride to Perhentian Island. From Kuala Besut Jetty, it is an hour's drive from Kota Bahru Airport and a 2-hour drive from Kuala Terengganu. Water sports such as canoeing can be enjoyed at the beach. The resort also provides laundry services, meeting room facilities and an internet café. Local and Western dishes are served at the on-site restaurant. There is also a common TV available there.

The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Guests have to take a boat transfer from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island, where Flora Bay 1 is located.
Most of the boat operators are not licensed and they will wait for a minimum of 12 passengers to fill one boat before ferrying them to the island
