I am an American-born Pakistani from the suburbs of Chicago, passionate about a whole new world. I grew up on a path to checking all the stereotypical boxes that I possibly could in the least amount of time possible. The more boxes I checked though, the less happy I became. After ending my job as a Wall Street Consultant, I spent the next few years trying to become a social entrepreneur. I went on to become a volunteer on eco-lodges and permaculture farms in Central America and, eventually, worked my way around the world helping to build sustainable and regenerative projects in Australia, Philippines, Chicago and Peru. I focused on the intersection of business, nature, and community. The culmination of my experiences and research is now evident in the Círculo Initiative, a family of eco-focused, for-purpose businesses in Nicaragua that are built on a mission to give more than they take – a model of conducting business and life in a way that our world desperately needs, one that is more regenerative. I have the pleasure of working with an inspired team of travelers, foreigners and locals alike. You will be in direct communication with this beautiful team of collaborators.

Along with our other amenities, Casa Andalucia has incorporated many eco-friendly practices to conserve energy and reduce our impact on the local environment. Some of these approaches include solar powered hot water showers and lighting as well as eco-structures. Our cottages are constructed with both local natural and recycled materials. Our sustainable regeneration recycling and composting initiatives help to benefit the environment and reduce waste.

Barrio Frente Sur is a small neighboorhood, on the south side of town. There are only small Pulperias (locally owned tuck shops) located in the Barrio to purchase the basics but It is a 10 minute walk to the centre where you can find all shops, restaurants, bars and access to the town's beach for its gorgeous sunset. The property is located at the end of the barrio, in a gated area, half way through a steep hill: trust us, it is worth the hike to get the view in return!
