This cute, traditional-style local cabins are in a prime location! the property boasts spectacular views of both volcano Conception and volcano Maderas from the garden. It has an outdoor porch with a hammock, rocking chairs, an outdoor viewing bar, a fire pit with stools, a herb spiral, edible gardens and fruit trees... Inside hosts a breakfast bar, dining area, large living area with flatscreen TV + HDMI, equipped kitchen including oven, coffee press, blender and juicer. The house sits at the side of the oldest coffee plantation and hacienda on this part of the island, Finca Magdalena. From the cafe and farm (100meters from Casa Concepcion) you can see petroglyphs (ancient rock carvings) coffee growing and begin the summit to the crater lagoon of Volcano Maderas.

The community of Balgue is lovely! The center is 10minutes downhill, where you can find bus stops, restaurants, grocery stores, bars and lake access. You can often spot parrots, owls and rare birds around here and monkeys like to chew on the trees lining the driveway... The neighbours are all quite friendly, as are Nicaraguans in general! It gets very dark after around 6pm. Do take a flashlight if you'll return after then.
