“The location is just insane. This view does not disappoint. An evening in the hammock over looking playa Amarillo is really magical. Owner Laura is nice and accommodating. Kitchen is sufficient and very chill vibes. Can rent surfboards there.”

Hello, I am Laura, originally from Austria. I visited Gigante last year and fell in love with it and decided to stay here and put my love and energy in Casa Medusa. I am an visual artist, I love music, dance and surf. I am always happy to get to know new people and cultures. I am looking forward to seeing you enjoy the beautiful nature and grounded vibes of Gigante and will do my best to make your stay outstanding!

Casa Medusa is located in the middle of Gigante's lush nature. The house is surrounded by greenery and from the garden and terrace you have marvellous views of Playa Gigante and Playa Amarillo and even a direct access to Playa Amarillo from the house. The chirping of birds and the sounds of monkeys awaken you to a new day in Gigante, the cozy and welcoming fishing village on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. The sound of the sea accompanies you 24 hours a day at Casa Medusa. Casa Medusa further provides filtered drinking water. Further we offer: - Surfboard Rental - Surf Lessons - Taxi Service - Massages Please note that the guesthose is located on a little hill and there is a short path up to the guesthouse which challenges the muscles just a few minutes to be rewarded with an amazing view and plenty of possibilities to relax as soon as you reach the hill :)

Neighborhood info

Gigante is a small and relaxed fishing village. The smiling inhabitants welcome visitors with open arms. There are several spots to surf nearby, you can go fishing, just relax on the beaches, discover other beaches nearby and go out at night and eat fish, burger, tacos and so on and play a round of pool with the locals.
