Property info

Hotel Finca Montaña Sagrada lies in an open space at the foot of Volcano Maderas. The property is about 50mts above lake level, off the main road and quiet. Our finca has a lush garden full of tropical flowers and fruits. we have ample parking. We offer a great breakfast. We only offer, fresh fruit juices, coffee, tea, water or beer. For other drinks you will have to ask in advance, before coming here, we will stock them for you. Merida is still very rural and the local municipality does not much for this community. We have a huge water tank to guarantee water to our guests.

Neighborhood info

From our finca you can reach the main road in 5 mins. There you can find a number of local restaurants, and little shops, also you can rent bicycles, motorbikes and scooters. There are a number of short and long hikes you can do. Exploring Merida is best on foot. In the dry season tou can walk on the lake shore for miles. The road that goes towards San Ramon runs along the lake and you can explore little lovely, different and quiet beaches all the way. Nature here is amazing! Walking around you can see howler monkeys, squirrels and many different species of birds and parrots. There are also an incredible amount of old, huge trees. Hiking volcano maderas you walk through sub-tropical forests and rain forests where vegetation is unique. Merida is one of the most beautiful parts of the island, people here still live on fishing and agriculture.
