Located on a cliff overlooking Playa Gigante, The Pelican Hostel offers guests a place to relax with an amazing ocean view. Our hostel is located just steps away from the beach and a few minutes from all of the best bars and restaurants in town. The rooms are rustic and budget-friendly, which is perfect for any backpacker making their way through Nicaragua. We also happily welcome national tourists.
The Pelican Hostel is owned and operated by a local family from Tola. Eduardo lives on site and is ready to provide excellent service to all the hostel's clients. We welcome guests from all over the world to enjoy our oceanfront property.
The Pelican Hostel is located in the Loma neighborhood of Playa Gigante. Set away from the bars, the neighborhood is quiet and home to many locals. All of Gigante's attractions including Playa Amarillo, the Pie de Gigante, Juntos Beach Bar, El Pozo, Cool Place, Giant's Foot, and the Casacada Hostel are within walking distance to our hostel.
