“Both Rex and Julieta were excellent hosts and gave us tips and ideas of what to do and where to go. The location was about a 10 minute walk in to the centre of Rivas and 15mins to the bus terminal.”

Murph's Surf Shacks are physiically part of Hotel Julieta but under different management called on the job training for local university students seeking careers in hospitality management. Julieta is the focal point for both operations. The hotel was a private hotel until Mike was unable to continue leading worldwide trekking expeditions in 2016
