I am an American-born Pakistani from the suburbs of Chicago, passionate about a whole new world. I grew up on a path to checking all the stereotypical boxes that I possibly could in the least amount of time possible. The more boxes I checked though, the less happy I became. After ending my job as a Wall Street Consultant, I spent the next few years trying to become a social entrepreneur. I went on to become a volunteer on eco-lodges and permaculture farms in Central America and, eventually, worked my way around the world helping to build sustainable and regenerative projects in Australia, Philippines, Chicago and Peru. I focused on the intersection of business, nature, and community. The culmination of my experiences and research is now evident in the Círculo Initiative, a family of eco-focused, for-purpose businesses in Nicaragua that are built on a mission to give more than they take – a model of conducting business and life in a way that our world desperately needs, one that is more regenerative. I have the pleasure of working with an inspired team of travelers, foreigners and locals alike. You will be in direct communication with this beautiful team of collaborators.

Nuestra Casa Boutique Bed and Breakfast is located in a nice and very tranquil neighborhood, just 1 block away from San Juan del Sur Bay. The house counts with a spacious common sitting area and an open communal kitchen, fully equipped, the best view of town from the house lookout of SJDS Bay "Terrace of Angels", pool, free wifi, free filtered water & delicious breakfast available upon request. Every room has a touch of color and Latin American culture given by beautiful paintings on the walls and fabrics from Guatemala. Along with our other amenities, Nuestra Casa has incorporated many eco-friendly practices to conserve energy and reduce our impact on the local environment. Some of these approaches include solar powered hot water showers and lighting, composting, recycling, and eco-structures, most of our rooms are decorated with both local natural and recycled materials. Our sustainable and regeneration initiatives help to benefit the environment and reduce waste.

San Juan del Sur is one of the best surfing spots in the world with almost perfect weather conditions year round; there are at least 8 different beaches that you can visit and countless activities to choose from (horse ridding, zip lining, sailing and boat tours, fishing, snorkeling, etc.). San Juan is a town full of life and music but is also the perfect place to rest and relax, we can also arrange massage services, holistic treatments and yoga lessons for our guest. All you need for a perfect vacation!
