If you like to stay in some unique places, we can offer you a place in our former primary school! We live on the front and the appartement is located on the side of the school. You have your own entry and the big hallway gives you the opportunity to park your bikes inside. The appartement itself is located in a classroom, where we took a 15m2 part and made it a bedroom. We replaced the former toilets with a luxurious bathroom with rainshower. It's a pretty unique place, and we are still improving while we are on this journey. Driesum is a small village close to nature, but also to the shops. Leeuwarden is 20 minutes and Groningen 45 minutes of driving, but luckily we also have a shopping mall in Damwoude. Which is 10 minutes with bike! Talking about bikes, we offer a bicycle rental service, because our nature is really suited for biking. Dokkum with its waters and history is only 10 minutes drive away. Dokkum is one of the cities in the ‘Elfstendentocht.’ If you want to visit one of the waddeneilanden, Driesum is a good location. Holwerd for example is the place where you take the boat to Ameland, and this is only a 20 minutes drive. If you want to see the sea.
