Hi, my name is Marcus Kleijn. Born in the south of The Netherlands. I worked in hospitality business as a waiter and cook when I was still young. From 2003 till 2018 I had my own company as a travel agent-touroperator for cycling tours all over the world. In 2019 I started a Bed and Breakfast next to my house and did this job till corona came. During the corona time I focussed on my family and rented the house out to a family (from 2020 till 2024). Now I am happy I am again busy with my apartments for short stay. My hobbies are gardening (as you will see), playing tennis, cycling (MTB, tour, gravel), reading on history and nature, cooking, drinking beer, wine and whiskey, photography, visiting-hiking parks and much more... This former garage has been turned into an apartment in February- March 2026. First day open for guests was 10 April. This small cozy apartment can house a maximum of 2 people and 1 dog. The apartment has a kitchen with a washing machine, induction plate for cooking and a combi-microwave. The queen size new boxspring bed is very comfortable and is placed next to the bathroom. Bathroom consists out of a toilet, a shower and a sink and is heated by an infrared panel and ventilated by an automatic ventilation system connected with the light. You have your private terrace surrounded by a nice garden. Access to a glass house for lounging.

The apartment is located in a residential area with lots of trees. Gardens are well kept and slightly larger than average. Just across the street is restaurant Eataliano located and restaurant Trix is just half a kilometer away. Arnhem is known for its parks. One is just behind the apartment, which can be reached in 2 minutes. It's Park Gulden Bodem. From this park you can cross a road to hike in Park Zypendaal and from there it is just a small distance to Park Sonsbeek. This way you are able to walk from the apartment to the centre using three parks to cross. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the centre on foot. Supermarkets Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Lidl are all three about 1 to 1.3 kms by road from the apartment. Two cycle (repair)shops are 1.1 kms from us located. The railway station is 2.5 kms and the centre of the city is 3.5 kms from the apartment. Motorways are easily accessible and on our road facing the B&B, parking is free and always available/free. Dog lovers will be happy with the fact that there is a large area for dogs and they do not need to be on a leash.
